2017, the year in review!  

Hard to believe 2017 has nearly come and gone. I am so proud to say, it was full of fun, new clients, new friends, new programs, new adventures and lots of amazing new memories made.

Did you fail the test?

Earlier this week I was on a plane (just for a change!), standing at my seat, waiting for the Qantas crew to help stow my cabin bag in the overfilled luggage compartment above.

As I waited patiently, the entire plane boarded, many looking at me strangely, as I stood awkwardly, bag on seat, watching them pass me by. It didn’t help that the plane was full of the Australian National Rugby League Team, The Kangaroos (not that I even realised this at the time, much to the disgust of my league-adoring daughter, Mack).

My Cambodian Adventure & Dilemma

AS MANY OF YOU KNOW, I RECENTLY HAD THE ABSOLUTE HONOUR OF ATTENDING THE ABOUT MY BRAIN INSTITUTE, I4 LIVE RETREAT TO CAMBODIA.

Where we partnered with the NFP RAWImpactOrg to collaborate, give back & build a bamboo house for a Cambodian family in need. The experience is one I will never forget and it exceeded all my expectations.

Well our brain is a control freak, according to neuroscientist & author of the book 'Idiot Brain', Dean Burnett. In an evolutionary sense, the brain does not like uncertainty. Why? because anything uncertain is a potential threat.
