People have been working virtually (remote working) for years. To be fair, for many organisations, it was the odd few working remotely vs. the majority.
Suddenly, the world was disrupted and we were all forced to STAY HOME. And so began the largest human experiment, in real-time, of navigating this new working paradigm, worldwide. Whether we wanted to or not. Recently, we asked our clients, stakeholders and friends “What is your main concern about the ‘human’ aspect of working at home?”. Interestingly enough, the number one concern was overwhelming “The fear of feeling isolated from the team”. The challenge - how do we possibly maintain the feeling of connection and sense of belonging when we are not seeing each other face to face?
All our lives are better if they’re a little bit wild!
Evidence shows that people feel happier when they are closer to nature. Just being outdoors, having a sense of openness, sends signals to our mind and to our body that immediately make us feel more buoyant. Scientists in the UK set up what they called a nature challenge. They asked over 18,000 participants to do something wild each day.

Learning something new is a powerful antidote! None of us wants to be rotting away in our homes, losing our mojo, motivation and momentum.
Never before has the time been more perfect, than right now, to learn something new. Yeah yeah, I know we’d all prefer to be able to wander the streets freely and hang out in the office lunchroom like we used to, but given we can’t (for the interim) why not seize the moment!
If ever a time in our lives the term VUCA is more relevant, it’s now.
From bushfires, to floods to now the global Big C pandemic! The world we live and operate in is more VUCA than ever. We are living in unprecedented circumstances. Every part of our everyday life is being threatened; our environment, our health, our wellbeing, our economy our social structures.
